(in Polish) Literaturoznawstwo - Warsztat metodyczny grupowy - 4 godz. - POL 1500-SZD-WM-LIT-4-PL
The classes are designed to facilitate functioning in the academic space and
scientific life. They will concern selected issues of teaching in
in the scope of literary studies, preparation of conference papers, work on
scientific articles (including cooperation with editorial offices of scientific journals).
In the mandatory part (4 h), the lecturers will discuss the most important methodical aspects and problems of didactic and scientific work.
The optional part will cover two areas of problems.
A. In the first area, the teacher will deal with three dimensions of functioning
in academic life: 1. Participating in the conferences, 2. Writing articles, 3. Conducting classes. Our discussions will focus on rhetorical aspects of scientific papers, as well as the differnces between writing a paper for conference and writing an article. The issues of transferring knowledge from books and articles to academic didactics will be taken up.
B. The second area will be a development of the activities proposed in the first area: it will focus on practical issues of academic didactics in the scope of
literary studies, creating outlines of academic classes. We will discuss the issue of reviews of scientific articles (such as deal with criticism of your own text, we will discuss various problems of writing a review and referring to a review in our text). We will talk about possible scenarios of the course of the discussion in the conference.

- conducting scientific activities in an independent manner,
- respecting the principle of public ownership of the results of scientific activity, taking into account the principles of intellectual property protection
Assessment criteria
1. presence (maximum two absences),
2. activity (including short homework),
3. writing a short essay (3-5 pages); it can be a paper for an upcoming conference or an popular article.
