Petrogenetic thermodynamics 1300-OTDP5W
The lecture presents the application of the thermodynamics of the equilibrium processes in petrology. It comprises:
- identification of the equilibrium conditions in mineral parageneses, graphic construction of the equilibrium diagrams on the basis of the thermodynamic data,
- the concept of activity and standard states,
- solid state thermodynamics applied to minerals,
- liquid and melt thermodynamics,
- termodynamikę cieczy i stopów,
- algebraic calculation of the equilibrium (P, T) conditions for the mineral parageneses
- buffering, metasomatosis, mass transport
