Geoenvironmental modelling 1300-OMG4L1
Program of classes includes following problems:
Classes 1-2
Creation of vector graphics objects (Corel Draw, Corel Photo Paint). Raster graphics versus vector graphics. Precise drawing. Creation of thematic layers. Maps and sections drawing with known tools using.
Classes 3-7
Spatial analysis of geoenvironmental data. (Surfer 8). Data digitalization, maps and 3D/ three-dimensional models of terrain surface creation. Interpretation of spatial relations using variogram analysis.
Classes 8 – 12
Statistical analysis of geoenvironmental data, assessing their distribution patterns, standardization of measurement results, hypotheses testing: e.g., test for normal distribution, test for significance of correlation coefficient. Data optimization using of Solver addition.
Classes 13-15
Multi-criteria decision analysis as a tool in decision-making processes (as an example Environmental Impact Review).
