The lecture consists of a general and systematic part. The general part includes the issues concerning on: history of regional hydrogeological studies in Poland, hydrogeological reconnaissance of the country with particular reference to regionalization and cartographical descriptions, methodology of hydrogeological research, rules on the usage of input data materials (hydrogeological data bank, archives) and stationary observation (monitoring), characteristic of climate in Poland and its impact on the hydrogeological conditions, hydrographic and hydrological characteristic of Poland, the rivers flow, anomalies and their relation to geology.
The systematic part includes: detailed hydrogeological characterization of the various Polish regions.
