Lectures in modern computer science 1000-2M11WWI
Series of lectures (mostly organized as PhDOpen) in computer science given at our department by the top world researchers. To receive a credit for this course one have to complete two such lectures (each consisting of a series of meetings and exam). The meetings usually take place on selected days in the afternoon (typically Wednesday - Friday). This lecture is mostly recommended for students considering enrolling for doctoral studies.
To receive the credit for the course it is required that the student finishes three courses. However, it is not necessary to finish three courses in one academic year - if a student manages to finish only one or two courses within a given year, it is possible to fill in the missing lecture(s) next year. For this purpose, it is best to deregister from the course and enroll for it next year. It will be possible to unregister from the course without consequences until the end of May.
