- Classification of degraded and devastated areas,
- Reclamation – introduction to the problem, general rules of remediation, importance of vegetation cover.
- Reclamation methods,
- Reclamation and menagment of the areas degraded as a result of the activities of: underground mining, surface and hole mining, energy, chemical, food and agriculture industries,
- Sub-division of reclamation phases: preparatory reclamation, technical and biological reclamation. Main tasks of the individual phases.
- Directions of reclamation and management of degraded land, reclamation solutions used in Poland and Europe.
- Revitalization and renaturalization of areas,
- Land reclamation of eroded and flooded areas, as well as principles of restoration of rivers and lakes.
- Restoration of the water environment (assumptions, principles, directions): wetland and river valleys habitats.

The basis for completing the course is a presentation about reclamation od the chosen site and written test covering all issues discussed in class.
Possible correction in writing. It is possible to correct positive grade (the better one will be the final one).
