The Computer Assisted Language Learning Course 4101-2ZNJWKO
During this two semester course students will theoretically and practically get to know both methods and tools of ICT which can be used in foreign language acquisition and glottodidactic processes. Methodologically, it means interaction and personalisation of the process of acquiring knowledge, helping students – language teachers to be – to master their workshop through intensive but fully conscious and critical application of digital media.
Projects and assignments will be based on practical connection of available modern technologies , methodology, various learning theories ( behavioural, cognitive, etc.) and the theory of second language teaching with emphasis on the autonomy of the learner and communicative language teaching.
The course will make use of available software web2.0/3.0 application and www content with authentic materials, applicable to create interactive and multimedia assignments, projects, and other means ( presentations, podcasts, videocasts, blogs, wikis, etc.).
It is a blended learning course, with both online classes and meetings in a computer lab, using materials ( instructions, videotutorials, scientific research) available on a dedicated e-learning platform.
