Karate - Okinawa 4023-P-KAR
Okinawa Karate - we present and teach historically the oldest karate system – Shorin Ryu - from Okinawa – the bithplace of it. Other popular karate system like Shotokan, Wado-ryu, or partly Kyokushin are derived from Shorin-Ryu. A system based on natural movements, logic of actions and intelligence of solutions. Competitions are also played in this system but they are not obligatory. We are in constant contact with the master Kenyu Chinen 9 dan from Okinawa. He travels all around the world to teach his studenst. Tuitions are also organised in Naha in Okinawa every few years.

Learning outcomes
Students:
- will acquire the general knowledge of the human body and its functioning;
- will be able to exercise safely;
- will learn how to work in a team;
- will understand the need to stay fit in order to remain healthy;
- will be able to use sports equipment correctly;
- will develop special motor skills under the guidance of the Physical Education and Sports Centre’s staff.
Assessment criteria
The basis for passing the course is systematic and active participation in the classes.
