Pluralism of the Socio-Economic Systems 4003-PSSG-OG
The aim of the course is to make the students familiar with the concept of the pluralism of contemporary socio-economic systems both in terms of the theoretical approach and the practical approach (based on selected case studies). The classes will present the concept of the man in the economy, discuss the relationships between the market, the state and the society as well as analyse the role of the state in the economy. They will focus on contemporary Europe in the context of the other countries and regions in the world as well as the most critical socio-economic challenges Europe is to face in the future.
