External policy of the European Union 4003-204PZUE

Introductory part of the lecture presents the main determinants of international dimension of European integration, namely historical and geopolitical aspects of the European Union's posture in the world. Then there is a presentation of definition of the EU's external policy, which includes two general components: external economic relations and foreign/security policy, as well as its various international potential, models, instruments and international roles. In the last part of the module there is an analyse of perspectives for further strengthening of the EU's external policy, as well as its position and role in the contemporary world.
