Learning outcomes
Students should be able to identify basic standards of the human rights law and conduct individual research in this field (especially in the ECHR and ECJ websites and databases).
Assessment criteria
The end result will be determined by the total number of points obtained from a written test, non-obligatory homework (preparing a presentation on a selected judgement in the field of human rights) and a human rights knowledge contest. The evaluated knowledge concerns the standards of human rights protection and their interpretation in courts as well as the student’s ability to conduct an independent critical analysis of human rights regulations and case law.
