Lectures cover free movement of goods, persons, services and capital. They are complemented with EU competition policy, public procurement, consumer policy (including advertisement), social policy and common commercial policy.

Learning outcomes
After completion of the learning process, the student:
1. knows the rules of European economic law
2. familiar with the functions and main principles of European economic law
3. knows the difference between the provisions directed to the Member and facing businesses
4. subjected to a critical analysis of the functioning of the law in practice and their impact on businesses and individuals
5. assess the impact of the application of the legal situation of individuals (direct effect)
6. interprets European law as interpreted by EU courts
