Protection of human rights in Europe 4003-102OPC

The course is aimed at presenting existing international regulations in Europe the field of protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms. It includes comparative analysis of both legally binding norms of international law (treaty norms) and the norms of so-called "soft" international law (conference resolutions, resolutions of international organizations). The principal objective of the course is to prove the emergence and the development of a new branch of international law. The aim of the lecturer is also to underline the specific features of that field of law as well as to emphasize its influence on other branches of international law.
