Middle Egyptian Grammar 3600-3-KWSE1-GKJE2
This class is a practical extension of the first part of the two year lecture on Middle Egyptian grammar.
Their aim is to provide initial comprehension of the hieroglyphic system with its signs and to use in practice the rules of grammar learned during the lecture. Selected literary (The Shipwrecked Sailor, The Tale of Sinuhe), historical (from Middle Kingdom, and the XVIIIth Dynasty) and religious texts will be read.
