The principal assumption of the programme is to point out dependencies and relations between the main fields of social work and sociology. Social work methods – case work, family / group work and local community work – are carried out also by the help of sociological knowledge. Hence the field of study will involve main issues of general sociology, the family, social problems, work, social work, small groups, culture, organization and management, moral sociology. The fields of interest above will be confronted with their usefulness to social work practicians.

7.Social interaction. Analysis of a social worker – social welfare client interaction
8.Social prestige. Prestige of social work profession
9.Sociology of professions. Social work: occupation or profession
10.Sociology of morality issues. Values in the area of social work.
