Teorias literárias do século XX 3305-TLXX1-P-1U
Familiarizar o estudante com opiniões selecionadas sobre a literatura do século XX e hoje, tais como: fenomenologia, formalismos, estruturalismos, semiótica, pós-estruturalismo, desconstrução, estudos antropológicos e culturais ou feminismo. As considerações serão estendidas ao aspeto filosófico do encontro com o outro (filosofia do diálogo) "num mundo onde as pessoas - mesmo pessoas semelhantes, pertencentes à mesma comunidade, moldadas pela mesma tradição – têm cada vez mais dificuldade de encontrar-se". Uma abordagem interdisciplinar das questões levantadas durante o curso pretende trocar ideias e estimular os estudantes a desenvolverem os seus próprios métodos de investigação.

O estudante conhece e compreende:
K_W03 – research methodology in the disciplines in which the studies are conducted;
K_W04 – the position of the studies of the Portuguese language countries within the humanities system and their subject and methodological connections with other scientific disciplines;
K_W06 – phenomena in the field of history, literature history and culture of the Portuguese language countries.
O estudante é capaz de:
K_U02 – independently acquire knowledge and develop research skills, following the guidance of a scientific supervisor;
K_U04 – use basic theoretical approaches, research paradigms and concepts specific to the disciplines in which the studies are conducted (in typical professional situations);
K_U05 – recognize various types of cultural products specific to the studies, and conduct their critical analysis and interpretation (using specific methods) to determine their meanings, social impact and place in the historical and cultural process;
K_U06 – argue substantively using the views of other authors and formulate conclusions.
O estudante está pronto para:
K_K01 – lifelong learning;
K_K02 – broadening their knowledge and language skills in the Portuguese language, continuous professional training and personal development, self-assessment of their own competences and skills improvement;
K_K08 – being informed about current processes and phenomena occurring in the Portuguese language countries.
Assessment criteria
Os estudantes são obrigados a assistir ao curso (são permitidas duas ausências injustificadas), a ler textos e participar ativamente na discussão, incluindo a análise do texto proposto da área da cultura luso-brasileira de acordo com uma das teorias literárias discutidas (aprox. 60% da nota final); um ensaio final sobre um assunto determinado e uma apresentação baseada neste ensaio (aprox. 40% da nota final).
