The subject comprises three components. The scope of legal language is dictated by a general theme of civil law and trade law. Within the remit of teaching of languages of science and technology one may find: introduction to translation of scientific and technical texts, processing field terminology of scientific and technical texts, as well as translating sample texts reduced to four major themes: astronomy, global warming, energy security, biodiversity. The scope of teaching of language of politics encompasses: introduction to conference interpreting based on current political language texts and sample interpreting of a variety of text samples encompassing the following topical fields: politicians' speeches, political commentaries in the time of economic crisis, economic situation at home and abroad, structure of state.

Assessment criteria
Verification and assessment of effects of learning relativised to each component of the course in the following modes: short tests (oral or written) and practical exams organised within the framework of each component
