Belarusian literary language stylistic 3221-30SB21C
During the course, students learn about the functional styles of the Belarusian language, their general description (aims, forms and peculiarities of language, rhetorical devices) and the stylistic characteristics of the Belarusian vocabulary (neologisms, archaisms, jargonisms etc.).

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, student:
- know the different styles of Belarusian language,
- knows the basic concepts of stylistics,
- makes linguistic-stylistic analysis of a text
- recognize the types of texts in terms of styistics,
- finds the rhetorical devices in texts and maks their stylistic description,
- is able to justify his statement,
- objectively evaluates colleagues statements
- cooperates in a group.
Assessment criteria
Evaluating individual performances and control tests. Passing the course on the basis of a written test containing opened and closed questions
