After the course on this level a student understands expressions and the most common vocabulary concerning the best-known parts of life (e.g. basic personal information and information about his family, shopping, geography of his area, employment). He is able to understand the main sense of statements included in short, clear and simple information, advertisements. He is able to read very short, simple texts. He is able to find detailed, predicted information in simple everyday materials like advertisements, prospects, menus, timetables, simple personal letters. He is able to communicate in simple, routine situations that need simple, direct exchange of information about known to him subjects. He manages in simple social situations, even if he is not able to understand everything and he is not able to maintain the conversation by himself. He is able to use expressions and statements to describe in a simple way his family and other people, life conditions, education and his present and last job. He is able to make a short, simple note and to write down information about emergencies. He is able to write a personal letter, e.g. thanking, e-mail or sms.
