The goal of the course is to familiarize students with existing analogue and digital resources from the perspective of information search in varied fields and issues. The main motto of the course is to get the most information in the shortest time while developing one's own individual way of doing so. The stress lays on the analogue information sources and their online equivalent.
Assessment criteria
Block course consists of lectures and exercises - seminar. The lectures are intended as a theoretical background to develop practical skills and skill that will be implemented on the exercises. Students shall be required to prepare at least one paper - the presentation (demonstration class), and more independent thematic searches (problems solving). Consultations face to face type are Implemented in terms of office hours and online.
Comprehensive examination (final written assessment) is carried out in writing, but a condition of release to its credit is a complex exercise (four written tests). Final exam is the result of an individual to engage students in activities and fill in all the formal requirements!. An important element of evaluation is also ongoing to prepare for classes and continuous assessment
