Metods and archeological technques 3101-ZMET

The main aim of his lecture is to present history of archaeology starting from the very beginning of this discipline till the present time. Stress will be laid on development of archaeological thought and elements of methodology. Lecture will comprise problems concerning archaeology in general as well as problems related to particular branches of this science, such as classical or prehistoric archaeology etc. As an important part of the lecture will be also considered the methodological basis of archaeology and the current ideas present in this field.
