Archaeology of the Americas and Oceania 3101-DB209A
Class is accompanying Professor Mariusz Zió3kowski?s lecture. Each of the students will be asked to present several topics (e.g. funeral rituals, architecture, economics, sculpture, metallurgy, pottery, weaving) within the whole course, basing on the literature chosen by the teacher. Those presentations in turn will be a starting point for discussions within the group. The main objective of the course is to encourage students to think independently and to teach them how to analyse archaeological and ethnohistorical data derived from South America, Mesoamerica, the Caribbean region, and North America
