Prerequisites (description)
(in Polish) Merytoryczne założenie zajęć to namysł nad funkcjonowaniem dawnych mitów w literaturze i kulturze współczesnej ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem fantastyki jako jednej z najważniejszych dziedzin kultury popularnej.
Wykorzystane zostaną narzędzia właściwe antropologii literatury, antropologii kultury, komparatystycznych badań literackich. Pojawi się również kwestia obecności mitu i mitologii w psychologii XX i XXI wieku (Sigmund Freud, Carl Gustav Jung, Erich Fromm i inni).
Istotną część zajęć stanowić będzie refleksja wokół dzieł przynależących do gatunków takich jak fantastyka baśniowa, fantastyka naukowa, horror, cyberpunk, powieść postapokaliptyczna, jako tekstów tradycyjnie przyporządkowywanych popkulturze. Uczestnicy zajęć wraz z prowadzącym podejmą refleksję nad obecnymi we wskazanych utworach wartościami uniwersalnymi, które pozwalają potraktować niektóre klasyczne dzieła fantastyki jako przynależne do kultury wysokiej.
