Anthropological Tools 3002-KON2020K43-OG
The course program was prepared by the Institute of Polish Culture. It furnish students with an anthropological point of view on such categories as time and space, body and personality; students learn to analyze various types of social ties and media of culture in synchronic and diachronic perspectives. An important part of the course is a presentation of historical schools in anthropology as an academic discipline.
The program can be adjusted to students’ needs.

Learning outcomes
After completing the course students are able to describe a specific anthropological approach to culture and can apply the basic anthropological categories to their analysis of contemporary and historical forms of culture; students perceive the relationship between cultural media and types of social ties and representations; they can characterize schools and directions in history of anthropological research.
Assessment criteria
Assessment criteria: quality of discussion during classes (zoom platform) and completing the tasks on e-learnig platform (google classroom).
