The lecture’ s purpose is to acquire competences in the field of basic regulations concerning the capital market.
The classes are aimed at presenting the most important legal solutions in force on the capital market, systematizing knowledge and understanding the protective mechanisms functioning on the capital market. The level of generality of the subject will enable effective participation in it for students of various faculties.
The curriculum will cover the following topics:
1. Increasing the share capital of a joint-stock company
2. Basic concepts and principles of capital market law
3. Dematerialization of financial instruments
4. The legal regime of public companies
5. Capital market supervision
6. Civil, administrative and criminal liability on the capital market.

After completing the course, the student:
1. explains what a public company is and how it can obtain financing on the capital market
2. recognizes the basic principles of capital market law, including investor protection mechanisms
3. understands the concept of dematerialization and its consequences for trading in securities
4. acquires skills in the field of basic obligations of public companies, including information obligations
5. explains the importance of information on the capital market
6. recognizes instruments of capital market supervision
7. understands the rules of civil, administrative, and criminal liability on the capital market.
