Introduction to training 2300-WdP/PSWDR
The objective of this course is a joint reflection on the situation of placement in social welfare institutions, educational institutions, NGOs working for children and families.
The student gets to know:
•areas of social and educational activities for children and their families (legal basis, organization, principles of functioning, concept of the work),
•specific needs of clients, beneficiaries of these institutions and organizations,
•how to observe children and adults, recognizes the specific character of social and educational work.

KNOWLEDGE
•Knows the legal basis, organization, rules of functioning at the selected institution,
•Knows the specific needs of clients, beneficiaries of the selected institution/organization.
SKILLS
•Knows how to prepare an individual support plan depending on the difficulties found in the functioning of the child/family.
ATTITUDES
•Strengthens his/her sensitivity to help child/family in difficult situations.
Assessment criteria
•Attendance,
•Report: institution description, along with the characteristic of its beneficiaries (clients).
Practical placement
The course is an element of the individual, pedagogical practice for first year students.
