Modern Technology in Adult Education 2300-WT/S-A

Goal of the course: students understand various forms of contemporary adult education that take advantage of the modern technologies in educational process (including Internet, radio, various media, etc).

Course program: students learn how to use the media in the process of school education and after-school, analyzing the effectiveness of solutions used in the context of the goals of teaching, and visiting high-tech centers in everyday educational practice.

Prerequisites (description)

General knowledge of pedagogical theories, contemporary principles of teaching adults. Basic knowledge of modern technologies used in education (IM - Internet messenger, Moodlle educational platform, etc)

Learning outcomes

The student knows what is the role of modern technology in adult education and understands the importance of pedagogical theory which is the justification for the use of specific technology. The student can assess the adequacy of the technology in terms of the objectives of education.

Assessment criteria

Final written assessment. Paper test.
