The program includes two main groups of problems:
I. Marriage and family in transition
• transformation of the family in the area of ideas, structure and function
• The alternative forms of family life,
II. Dysfunction of the family – conditions, the perspectives of family members.
•Crises within the family
•Dimensions of functionality and dysfunction of the family
III. Evaluates difficult Parenting
•problems of the family (including divorce, death of a close person, teenage parenthood, violence within the family, migration, the problem of alcohol)

KNOWLEDGE
•Presents changes in family structure, functions and family awareness,
•Indicates risks impending the functioning of the family as a group and institution,
•Knows the mechanisms of problematic family functioning, taking into account the perspective of all family members,
•Knows the programs of family support and available forms family assistance which reflect its specific needs and problems.
SKILLS:
•Explains the risk factors and situations which occur in problematic families,
•Assesses the child’s situation at school and in the family,
•Indicates the possibility of helping the child and problematic family.
ATTITUDES:
•Establishes the attitude toward people in need,
•Criticizes the inadequate to the problems forms of family assistance,
•Recommends innovative projects of working with family.
Assessment criteria
• Attendance
• A test in the end of course.
