Learning styles 2300-MS1-AKN-SU
Students learn about the different typologies of teaching styles and learning styles. They learn the recognition methods, characteristics and working methods specific to each learning style. They will also find out how the communication processes are running and how these can be disturbed.
Classes emphasize active forms of work and teamwork. Students have opportunities to practice a variety of educational and social situations with the group, so they can better understand their leader style and their preferred learning style. Students in the classes diagnose own learning style, learn how to cope with stress during tests, and also - how to plan classes with a group if participants prefer different learning styles.

- Student knows which science is about describing and analyzing learning styles
- knows the basic concepts of different learning styles; Understands the relationships and relations that occur between them

- knows how communication processes take place according to the situation and participants in the interaction

- Student can characterize the specific learning style and teaching style
- can choose the right learning style and teaching style to the presented situation
- evaluates suitability and selects appropriate working methods in different learning styles for specific educational situations

- When performing team tasks, student plays different roles, adapting to the needs of the group and the goal set for the group
- Student is aware of the consequences of lack of knowledge about learning and teaching styles
- is aware of different learning styles and take them into account in planning work
- understands the need to constantly deepen his/her knowledge and skills in learning styles
- is aware of own learning style and can use this knowledge to develop skills and abilities
- is aware of hisher preferred teaching style and takes this knowledge into account when planning activities with a group
Assessment criteria
- Preparation of a presentation on a specific topic, including activation methods
- Developing an outline of classes in groups, taking into account preferences regarding learning styles, and conducting a selected part of classes from this outline
