DIDACTIC MODULE – Adult Education 2300-MD/ANDR
The aim of the module is to acquire fundamental knowledge, skills, and social competences related to the preparation and delivery of educational activities for adult learners, implemented in various formats and educational contexts. The course covers key issues in adult didactics, including the formulation and operationalisation of learning objectives, selection and organisation of educational content, teaching methods and tools, as well as effective communication techniques.
The module also includes the development of lesson plans, organisation of the learning environment, preparation for public speaking, enhancement of self-presentation skills, and building professional authority in the role of the educator. Attention is also given to the resolution of challenging situations in the educational process and to the principles of educational assessment.
As part of the pedagogical practicum (90h) carried out in parallel with the module, participants have the opportunity to engage directly with various aspects of planning, delivering, and evaluating the teaching and learning process for adults, which significantly complements the theoretical content addressed in the course.
Educational experiences gained during the student practicum are discussed as part of experience analysis sessions (30h), supporting the development of a reflective approach and broadening knowledge about the diversity of educational practices in the field of adult learning.
The pedagogical practicum may also be carried out within the Erasmus+ mobility programme, certified by a YouthPass certificate.
