Education for diversity - workshop 2300-EdR-OG
During the semester, participants will take part in 8 workshops on broadly understood education for diversity. Workshops will be conducted based on active and innovative methods selected while maintaining the diversity of tools and their adaptation to specific topics.
The workshops will be held in a small group, which will allow deepening the insight into own knowledge, skills and attitudes of each participant that could be developed systematically during the course.
Classes prepare for a conscious life in a heterogeneous, postmodern society, which brings with many challenges related to its multifaceted diversity.
Topics of the workshops:
1) What I need and why I am here? - integration of participants
2) Culture and multiculturalism - what is it?
3) Intercultural competence - communication in the diverse environment
4) What does a Muslim have under a scarf? - meeting the Other
5) What does it mean to be a refugee?
6) Where do social inequalities come from?
7) Anti-discrimination workshop I
8) Anti-discrimination workshop II
