Pedagogical diagnosis of children with developmental disorders 2300-DPDZR

The course acquaints students with the methods, techniques and tools used in the psycho-pedagogical diagnosis. The contents of the course explain the importance of psycho-pedagogical diagnosis for creating individual therapeutic strategies. The course clarifies the principles, structures and types of psycho-pedagogical diagnoses.

Prerequisites (description)

Students gain the basic knowledge about the kinds of principles and methods of psycho-pedagogical diagnosis; they learn the ability to prepare tools for understanding the selected aspects of children’s diagnosis and their educational difficulties.

Learning outcomes

Student recognizes types, characteristics and rules of diagnosing children with educational difficulties; is able to prepare and use diagnosis tools for selected developmental and educational problems; is able to use the diagnosis results in
designing therapies.

Assessment criteria

Passing tests based on individual and group work during the course.
