The Polish Commercial and Economic Law in the 20th Century 2200-1S065-OG
1. The concept of commercial and economic law (scope, sources and literature),
2. The history of economy in Poland in 1918-1939 (the economic and monetary reform in the 1920s; the Prosperity period, the Great Depression, the New Deal in Poland in 1930s).
3. The codification of commercial law (activity of the Commercial Committee and the government),
4. The Polish commercial law (regulations preceding the Commercial Code, decree on the limited liability company, regulations with the force of an act of parliament on: bills of exchange, cheques, warehouses, stock exchanges, joint stock companies, principles of the Commercial Code – the scope of the act),
5. Law on bills of exchange (history and systems of the law on bills of exchange, international conventions, functions of the bill of exchange (credit, payment, currency and guarantee),
6. Cheque law (history of cheque law, international conventions, functions of cheque),
7. Warehouse law (the warehouses, systems of warehouse receipts, commodity credit),
8. Regulations with respect to intangible assets (copyrights and patent law, unfair competition),
9. Banking and stock exchange law (stock exchange and commodities exchange),
10. Regulations with respect to arrangements with creditors. The bankruptcy act.
11. Self-government and public administration (chambers of: commerce, agriculture and crafts),
12. Industrial law, trust law, mining law, petroleum industry law (the concept of industry and the concept of trust).
