Social legislation (Lecture 30 hours, tutorials 30 hours)
Lecture: the object and scope of social legislation; labour law; features, functions and principles of labour law; sources of labour law.
Individual labour law - concept and character of employment relations; subjects of labour relations; establishment, changing and termination of employment relations. Rights and duties of parties to an employment relationship.
Types of contracts of employment. Contract of employment and other forms of employment (self-employed person, employment based on civil law contracts, social employment, voluntary service).
Termination of a contract of employment: termination of an employment contract based on parties' mutual agreement, termination of an employment contract with notice and without notice, expiration of a contract of employment.
Legal protection against downsizing.
Contents (conditions) of a contract of employment: wages or salaries, working time, employees' holiday.
Liability of parties to the contract in case of a breach of rules. Solving of labour disputes. Responsibility for maintaining order; disciplinary responsibility; liability for causing material damages.
Employment and unemployment; labour market policy.
