The Image of Modern Mongolia and the Mongols in the Film (synchronous projection of feature films and synchronous discussion in class) 2102-BW-M-Z1WM-OG-Z
The course is devoted to discussing the distinctive features of Mongolian culture and the characteristics of modern Mongolian society, its history and current problems. The theoretical description will be supplemented with an asynchronous film projection. In this way, participants and participants of the classes will get acquainted with selected films showing everyday problems of modern Mongolia. An additional task will be to analyze the cultural message and indicate those elements of culture that determine its character and perpetuate stereotypes.

- knows and understands various types of social ties, with particular emphasis on those categories of ties that are important for the safety of man and the groups in which he lives, and has knowledge about the processes of changes taking place in them, as well as about human creative activity in the field of creating social order, political and economic,
- can analyze (with the use of theoretically in-depth assessment) various social phenomena, and above all those related to security, with particular emphasis on crisis situations and threats to individuals, society and the state,
-- is ready / ready to use the acquired knowledge in various scopes and forms of professional work and other social situations requiring solving a specific problem, with particular emphasis on the ability to critically analyze the effectiveness and usefulness of the acquired knowledge and efficient use of normative systems,
- has a basic knowledge of Mongolia and its inhabitants (history, language and culture)
- knows selected works of cinematography showing modern Mongolia and its inhabitants,
- can analyse the cultural message captured in selected feature films about the problems and life of modern Mongols
- can indicate the important role of the influence of culture-forming factors on film-making (consolidating stereotypes)
- knows how to identify the distinctive elements of modern Mongol culture and life,
- is aware of the cultural difference and its role in building interpersonal relations.
