Journalistic sources of information (Internet) 2101-L-W6TIME-PRMM
The lecture’s topic is the state and conditions (infrastructure, demography) of Internet (Web, WWW) in Poland and abroad. The lecture presents the essence of the Internet - its history, current situation and prospects, in particular Web 2.0 forms of presence in the virtual world and their relationship with the real world. Highlighted are the technical conditions of the Network (Internet access), services on the Web, search tools, resources and services, and selected aspects of commerce (trade, exchange, payment) on the Internet. An important part of the lecture is the presentation of information resources and service networks as well as foundations of commercial web design. Particularly marked has been the form in the Internet presence of the media - press, radio and television as well as sample forms of social networking, citizen journalism.

knows how to adapt the choice of form of media presence on the Internet for their journalistic work.

student is aware of the dynamics of changes in the convergence of old and new media; knows about clouds and emerging information technologies relevant to the work of a journalist.
