Artistic Communication 2101-L-D3KART-PRMM
Artistic Communication seeks to include art in the category of a communication act concerning its aesthetic and social context. Course introduces basic concepts social communication within the art field:
representation, meaning, semiotics, myth, narrative, ritual, kitsch, simulacrum; also be briefly discusses communication codes in the areas such as: abstract painting, modern sculpture, performance art, animation art, posters, contemporary music, opera, theater, hair, tattoo, fashion, graffiti, dance, etc..

Students get to know the different forms of art communication codes, their functioning as well as contexts for various social groups.
SKILLS
Students gain the ability to analyze artistic communication in different types of art in the context of the different approaches of analysis, in terms of iconographic and iconological.
