Geographical Information Systems - GIS - classes 1900-MC-GIS2L
Classes include the following: organization of data in vector space model, application and formatting of map layers; registration maps, digitizing, building a database and its search, create queries atrybutowych and spatial examples of transformations and operations on vector data, create thematic maps, organization of data in raster spatial model, sample analysis of raster data, create a digital terrain model, mapping characteristics morphometric delimitation of the area meets criteria under consideration, the use of spatial data interpolation methods, creating 3D models of spatial data, WebGIS elements, the use of network resources, WMS and WFS analysis of the organization and functionality of selected SDI. The software: the selected software open source and commercial. The use of network resources.

As a result of the course the student should be familiar with the methods used in the classroom acquisition, analysis, visualization and sharing of spatial data.
