Cartographic and Technical Drawing - Computer Graphics 1900-6ARTP
The first part of the lecture is devoted to the presentation of the National Geodetic Database (reference and thematic databases). The following subjects are: The basic elements of map drawing (paper and computer maps); Cartographic signs drawing of particular elements of the contents of large-scale and reference maps (both general and thematic); Graphic variables, theory of color and the application there of in cartography and urbanites presentations; Map lettering; The elements of spatial organization plans and their graphic presentation on maps;. The principles of perspective drawings. The final part of the lecture pertains to the cartographic methods of presentation.
Pragmatic aspects of map drawing: Topographic map reading and interpretation; Cartometry - map measurement used in spatial planning; The principles of cartographic drawing using the computer tools (graphic editing software such as CorelDraw).
