After completing the course, the graduate knows and understands contemporary doctrines, theories and views on spatial order, urban design and spatial planning and their evolution, as well as gives examples of research relevant to a given scientific discipline.
After completing the course, the graduate knows and understands the basic processes taking place in the space of the city and urban region (historical and urban approach); knows what they generate in terms of planning practice, management and political processes, and understands their impact on the functioning of space

After completing the course, a graduate can use the basic knowledge to forecast, plan, observe and analyze spatial phenomena, and then explain their causes and interrelationships
After completing the course, a graduate is able to assess the state of spatial development of a settlement unit, city and determine the desired directions of its development
The graduate is able to design the layout of extensive housing and determine the appropriate infrastructure for him
The graduate is able to analyze and evaluate the design of a residential complex in terms of technical and functional correctness
After completing the course, a graduate can clearly and precisely (using specialized terminology) inform about spatial phenomena and processes, as well as present them to various recipients, including decision-makers and the public

After completing the course, the graduate is ready to critically assess the acquired knowledge and skills and expand professional competences
Assessment criteria
• Attendance at lectures is not obligatory.
• The subject passes a test - at the end of the semester.
• colloquium, it will consist only of a test of 30 questions.
• 20 questions will be single choice.
• And no more than 10 questions will be multiple choice.
• You will get 5 points for each correctly solved test question.
• There will be no negative points.
• In the case of multiple-choice questions, there may be an incomplete number of questions, for example, 2-3 or 4 points per question.
• The minimum number of points necessary to pass the course is 76 points (75/150 + 1)
