Geostatistics 1900-3-GST-KT
The main objective of the course is to acquire knowledge about the basics of statistical inference, geostatistical analysis methods, as well as knowledge with the techniques and applications of the methods for spatial analysis.
The course will cover the following topics: descriptive statistics and measuring scales, graphical presentation of the data in software, basic statistical testing, confidence intervals, distributions of variables, analysis of variance, correlation, regression, multivariate analysis, interpolation methods, kriging, semivariogram.

Student:
- knows how to input data in accordance with the requirements of a particular statistical analysis,
- can individually carry out statistical analysis of the use of these tests in the software,
- can interpret, describe and illustrate the results of the analyzes in the software,
- shall be understood for reading texts scientific statistical analyzes described in exercises,
- has the ability to think statistical and methodological.
Assessment criteria
The end result of the student's work will be the execution of the project, which will be assessed.
