Introduction to paleolimnologii. Classification of lakes and pools, lake, lakeside environment, basic and bog, factors affecting the development of the lakes (water relations, precipitation, temperature conditions, geographical location). Lake sediments and marsh. Distribution zones of sedimentation in lakes, trophy lakes, thermal classifications and miktyczne lakes. Paleolimnologicznych test methods. Sampling methods and swampy lake sediments, faunal and floral studies, geochemical and mineralogical studies, paleomagnetic studies, geophysical and isotopic. The evolution of lakes in different geological eras and climates. Contemporary changes in lakes in relation to the development of human civilization. The rate of disappearance of lakes.

Learning outcomes
Students are able to present a classification of lakes and lake environments, pond and marsh. Are acquainted with the location of zones of sedimentation in lakes, and learn what this trophy lakes, thermal classifications and miktyczne lakes. They gain the ability sampling of lake sediments and wetlands, the use of fauna and floristic studies, geochemical and mineralogical palaeomagnetic, geophysical and isotopic.
Assessment criteria
Lecture: Final written exam. As a part of retake - written test.
Exercises; Assessment of work performed during classes, attendance check - 2 absences per semester are allowed. As a part of the correction - evaluation of corrected attachments.
