(in Polish) Invitation to Particle Cosmology: supersymmetry as a physics beyond the standard model 1100-IPC3
The course will be composed of two parts.
1) Lectures on the following topics:
- Supersymmetry in quantum mechanics (factorizable Hamiltonian and its partner)
- Review on particles and fields (basic knowledge is assumed such as real/complex scalar bosons, Dirac/Weyl/Majorana fermions, massless/massive vector bosons)
- Super-Poincare algebra and particles (supersymmetric multiplets, R-charge)
- Superspace, superfields and supersymmetric Lagrangians (Grassmann dimensions, covariant derivatives, chiral superfield, vector superfield)
- Non-renormalization and hierarchy problem (holomorphy, Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model, NSVZ beta function)
- Supersymmetry breaking and mediation (F/D-term breaking, goldstino, spurion superfield, analytic continuation of renormalization)
2) Presentations by students:
Students read and explain a (part of) literature of their choice (preferably in particle cosmology).
Continuous supports for choosing and reading the literature are provided.
Some literatures are recommended also during the lectures.
