Jerzy Pniewski and Leopold Infeld Colloquium of the Faculty of Physics 1100-5JPLI
The aim of the classes is to familiarize students with the current research topics of contemporary physics and related fields. The lectures will be presented by invited guests from Poland and abroad, who are authorities in their field. The selection of speakers will ensure that students will get to know the most important and important scientific achievements nowadays. Both the field of experience and theory will be represented. Students will not only become acquainted with the recent results of scientific research, but also with exemplary methods of presenting these results to a wide audience.

Knowledge of a wide range of research topics addressed by contemporary physics and related fields. Increasing the skills of presenting scientific research results.
Practical placement
A credit for the mark. The mark is given on the basis of an essay (1-2 A4 pages), concerning the subject of the selected lecture presented during the Colloquium. In addition, the attendance at 80% of meetings in a given cycle is required, confirmed by the student's own entries in the attendance book.
