Work Placement 1100-4PRAKFZ
The aim of the professional internship is to familiarize students with the socio-economic environment relevant to their field of study. Internships may be completed in research institutions, enterprises, and organizations that conduct scientific research, implement research results, or make use of scientific findings.
The internship supervisor, the programme director, or the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs assigns the student to an internship upon the student’s request.
A student may apply to the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs for the recognition of learning outcomes achieved through professional employment or business activity undertaken during the course of study as equivalent to the learning outcomes assigned to the internship. The student must provide documents specifying the scope of tasks performed in their employment or business activity and justifying that the substantive requirements described above have been met.
Professional internships may also be carried out at placements proposed by students. The decision in this matter is made by the internship supervisor, the programme director, or the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs, taking into account the substantive requirements described above.
