Introduction to quantization 1100-4ITQ
I will discuss various approaches to quantization. The course wil be mathematically rigorous, and at the same time elementary. It is a natural extension of the standard course in quantum mechanics.
1. Canonical commutation relations.
2. Basic types of quantization: Weyl, Kohn-Nirenberg, Wick and anti-Wick quantization.
3. Coherent states
4. Metaplectic group
5. Semiclassical quantization.
6. WKB method
7. Feynman path integrals in quantum mechanics
8. Second quantization
