Learning outcomes
Knowledge:
Due to the large variety of exercises and the need for each student to choose only one of them, the knowledge obtained by the student depends significantly on the choice made by him/her. Only some general information can be given about the areas of knowledge gained, namely that students gain knowledge of the application of a variety of physical techniques to the study of biologically important molecules and macromolecules and their complexes.
Skills:
1. the ability to independently plan and perform experiments in the field of molecular biophysics
2. ability to work in a team
3. ability to use research equipment used in biophysical research
4. the ability to develop, analyze and present your own experimental results
Attitudes:
1. understanding of the research ethics
2. awareness of responsibility for own results
3. care for the safety of work with chemical and biological substances and equipment used in biophysical research
Assessment criteria
The permissible number of absences subject to excuse:
two per semester
There are three elements to pass the individual exercises:
1. preliminary test
2. performance of the exercise
3. independent preparation of a correct report on the performed exercise
Bibliography
Due to the wide variety of exercises, literature will be provided for each exercise independently.
