Overview of the program

The transition year will serve as the gateway to our full-time GPIR Programme. The students from Sichuan University will be enrolled in the transition year which will allow them to complete their Bachelor of Arts in International Relations programme from Sichuan University. The transition year will provide them with the foundational education for the graduate-level degree program. Research Methodology of International Relations, Foreign and Security Policy of Central and Eastern Europe, Area Studies, and Theory of International Relations are some of the courses that they will attend during the transition year.

After getting a BA in IR degree from Sichuan University, the transition year students have an opportunity to transfer to the 2nd year of the Graduate Programme in International Relations which ultimately will allow them to get a 2nd Cycle Degree Diploma in International Relations.

Tuition fee

For the 1 ^st transition year participants will pay a full-time fee as the Graduate Programme in International Relations’s 1 ^st year students.

For the 2 ^nd Graduate Programme year, participants will pay a full-time fee as the Graduate Programme in International Relations’s 2 ^nd year students.
