Open Scientific Meetings 4219-OZN
Open Academic Meetings are events extending beyond the curriculum and include conferences, guest lectures, film screenings and discussions. They are supposed to create an opportunity for students to fully participate in the life of the academia, acquaint them with the state of research and discussion in various fields and provide a forum for expression and verification of one's views in the academic context. Moreover, they engage students in the life of the Center in the process of organization, facilitation and promotion of such events.

Learning outcomes
Student takes active part in academic life of the Center by helping in organizing conferences, presentations and screenings. Student independently presents one's own knowledge through presentations. Student can critically refer to views presented by others in the context of gathered knowledge from the field. Student can participate actively in a discussion, pose questions and draw conclusions.
Assessment criteria
Participation in lectures and presentations. Grades based on the scope and character of individual contribution.
