Spanish/advanced level 4219-FL202
The objective of the course is to enable students to improve the ability to communicate and their linguistic competence.
The course will further develop both receptive (listening and reading) and productive (speaking and writing) skills, at the B2 level , through lectures, audio lectures, videos, presentations.

On completing the course, the student:
KNOWLEDGE
- is aware of grammatical structures and vocabulary which correspond to the CEFR level B2
- is aware of several registers of Spanish language
- knows the official forms used in letters and e-mails
- has a knowledge of the importance of practical Spanish in Latin American studies
SKILLS
- is able to communicate correctly and fluently, expressing his/her opinions on familiar topics and those related to topics he/she has studied
- writes a clear, coherent and logical text in Spanish on a wide range of subjects (eg. a description, a report, an essay)
- can explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options
- can interact fluently and spontaneously with native speakers
SOCIAL COMPETENCES
- is aware of the level of their knowledge and skills and understands the need for constant learning and profesional development
- is able to work and assume various roles in a team
- identifies and solves problems connected with her/his task.
Assessment criteria
The final grade is influenced by:
Attendance and homework (exercises, essays) – 25%
Two partial tests - 25%
The final exam – 50%
Grading:
61-69% - 3
70-74% - 3,5
75-82% - 4
83-88% - 4,5
89-94 - 5
95-100 - 5!
